Nylon filament is a strong durable material, it has high mechanical strength, resistant to wear, resistant to oil, grease and scratches, suitable for engineered parts such as gears.
Thanks to its solubility in water, it is ideal as a support material, since the support structures can be washed away by water. A dissolution of the material at a water temperature of 21°C takes several hours. The dissolution time can be significantly reduced by increasing the temperature.
eSUN Carbon Fiber Filled Nylon 3D Printer Filament • ePA-CF is made out of nylon and some carbon fiber material, 75% Nylon Coupled with 25% Carbon Fiber. • It features with higher strength and rigidity, less warpage and more resistant to wear comparing to the traditional nylon filament.

HIPS - High Impact Polystyrene, offers similar 3D printing properties as ABS filament, and it can be used to create both standalone objects or as a support for ABS printed parts. The main difference between ABS and HIPS, is that HIPS is completely dissolvable in Limonene, and therefore ideal for creating temporary supports for structures that would otherwise be impossible to make.
