Return & Cancellation Policy

The Products & Services of Cognizance directly or through its agents / franchisee / affiliates / dealers / distributors / consultants / resellers and / or any other party authorized by Cognizance hereafter collectively called as ?partners?, are technical in nature. They require in-depth understanding of the products and services. It shall be the responsibility of the purchaser / clients to understand the uses and benefits of the products and services before purchase. It shall be the responsibility of the client / purchaser to read the specification, descriptions and educate themselves on the usage / operation of the product and services before making such purchase(s). Cognizance and / or its partners shall not be liable to refund / return / cancel the product / services on this ground.

  • Products and Services offered by Cognizance under Dealership / Sales and / or Support Center and / or under resellers agreement manufactured elsewhere;
  • Products and Services offered / manufactured by Cognizance;
  • Products and Services offered / manufactured by Cognizance under contract of Customized Manufacturing / Offering;

All communications in relation to returns, cancellation & refund by customer have to be emailed at info@cgztech.com within a period of 15 days from the date of the order or sent by registered postal service via through speed post / courier to Cognizance registered office at

All 3D printers, scanners, machines and / or all products and services marketed / delivered by us that are sold and shipped, are covered under manufacturer(s) warranty. If a product you receive is defective / damaged / non-operable, it will be covered under manufacturer's warranty and we facilitate the replacement of parts by invoking the warranty clause as laid down by each manufacturer in their terms and conditions or warranty clause. But we don't accept the refund / return of printers once we have processed the order.

Most of the products sold by Cognizance are covered under the Manufacturer's warranty. Cognizance won't be offering any additional warranty than what is listed by the manufacturer and it is clearly communicated during the sale. So, Cognizance won't accept return of products unless the same is authorized / compensated by the manufacturer or distributor. Cognizance can facilitate the warranty claim and act on behalf of customer to get the products replaced from manufacturer. Cognizance shall provide technical support or product support only as directed by the principal / manufacturer / distributor.

Shipping Charges, Inspection Charges, Taxes, Duties & Levies shall not be refunded in any case.

Once the customer places the order we shall contact the customer to confirm the order. Once the customer confirms the order, we shall go ahead and place the order immediately. After the confirmation, customer cannot cancel the order in principle. Customer can still reach us if he/she wants to cancel the order after confirmation. It shall be the right of Cognizance to accept the refusal of the order. Cognizance reserves the right to refund of payment of such order(s) after deduction of expenses on account of the customer. All decisions by Cognizance shall be final and binding on the customer. If the order has been processed and ready for delivery, in such case, return of products shall be denied by Cognizance unless the product is sold to another fulfilling customer. No return / refund or cancellation of order shall be accepted on ground of delay due to customs clearance, manufacturer's delay in production, shipment delays, force majeure and / or delay due to Act of God and / or delays not envisaged by Cognizance (check the cancellation message).

For pre-listed products, Cognizance team shall start processing the order once it receives the notification. Cognizance team would not call the customer for confirmation of order unlike for products mentioned above. Depending on the order queue it may take couple of hours before Cognizance team start processing the order. Customers can reach Cognizance if he / she wishes to cancel the order. Cognizance holds the right of refusal of such cancellation requests. Cognizance holds the right to deduct cancellation charges as deemed necessary by Cognizance. All decisions made by Cognizance shall be final and binding on the customer.

Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
